Recording, Mixing and Mastering Services

The control room environment is very important in providing the perfect conditions for engineering, recording, mixing and mastering. Sound Gallery have designed and utilised a combination of Limp Mass traps and absorber panels along with corner traps to attenuate a range of frequencies - the aim is to create an almost flat response curve to enable the 'Truest' audio signal.

Mixing facilities

Quality mixing helps achieve great mastering results and the experience and ears of a good Mix Engineer are invaluable. The Control Room environment is very important in providing the appropriate conditions for Engineering, Mixing and Mastering. Sound Gallery have designed and built a fully acoustically treated control room which creates the 'Truest' listening environment.

Equipment

Monitoring is provided by Quested (Quested S7 + SB 10R Sub). We offer general Mixing services and Stem Mixing services using both Analogue and Digital paths (including Prism Sound Maselec MMA-4XR mastering series pre-amps, Tascam 1" tape, TfPro compressors and a host of high end digital plug-ins).

Mastering facilities

Sound Gallery Studios offer different Mastering options to suite your budget and your product, from general Mix and Mastering of demos and 'in the box' high end Software Mastering to complete packages for commercial release utilizing TLA valve EQs & PA1, TfPro P38EX stereo compression and more. We are also proud to offer the highest level of professional Mastering through a unique association with S.A.M. (Super Audio Mastering) which is situated in the Dartmoor National Park and run by renowned Mastering Engineer Simon Heyworth (Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells, Depeche Mode, Imogen Heap) and Andy Miles.
